Valves

Angle Hose Valve

The angle hose valve is an integral part of any standpipe system or complete hose rack assembly.  It's main function involves controlling the flow of water.  Our angle hose valves are UL listed and rated for up to 300 PSI.  Available as import or domestic.

  • Now available with grooved inlet (2½" rough brass imported valves only).

Pressure Restricting Angle Valve

Pressure restricting hose valves work to reduce water pressure under flowing conditions.  The valves are all field settable and allow fire departments to override those settings in emergency conditions.  Pressure restricting valves are rated for use up to 175 PSI.

Pressure Reducing Valve (Factory Set)

Pressure reducing valves use inner hydraulic controls to automatically reduce water pressure under all flow and no-flow conditions.  Rated for inlet pressures up to 400 PSI, pressure reducing valves are suitable for use as floor control valves, check valves in dual riser systems, and standard shut-offs in standpipe systems.

  • Because these pressure reducing valves are factory set, a data sheet must be filled out at time of order.

Pressure Reducing Valve (Field Adjustable)

Field adjustable pressure reducing valves perform the same function as the factory set type, except they are settable in the field, allowing the end user more control and flexibility.

Hydrant Gate Valve (175 PSI)

A hydrant gate valve's primary job is to control the flow of water from a fire hydrant, wall hydrant, or pump test connection.  This particular hydrant gate valve is rated for use up to 175 PSI.  Standard features include:

  • Rubber Seal
  • Non-rising Stem
  • Crank-type "Speed" Handle or UL approved Handwheel

Hydrant Gate Valve (300 PSI)

A hydrant gate valve's primary job is to control the flow of water from a fire hydrant, wall hydrant, or pump test connection.  This particular hydrant gate valve is rated for use up to 300 PSI.  Standard features include:

  • Metal to metal seal (wedge disc)
  • Non-rising stem
  • Handwheel

Wedge Disc Gate Valve

Wedge disc gate valves are typically used on pump test connections and roof manifolds to control the flow of water.  Due to the tapered female pipe thread on the inlet side, these valves are designed to be installed permanently.  Wedge disc gate valves are rated for use up to 300 PSI.  Features include:

  • Metal to metal seal (wedge disc)
  • Handwheel
  • Attached cap & chain

Globe Valves

Globe valves are used in both wet and combination systems, as well as fire department outlet connections.  These globe valves are rated for use up to 300 PSI.
