Hoses and Hose Racks

Fire Hose

Fire hose is available in both single jacket and double jacket types.  The type you choose depends on your application.  Single jacket hose is typically rated at 500 PSI test pressure, while double jacket is rated at 800 PSI test pressure.

Rack Hose

Rack Hose is similar to single jacket fire hose.  However, its light weight allows it to be neatly folded in a pin-style hose rack assembly or rolled onto a hose reel.  Due to its construction it is suitable for emergency use only.

Mill Hose

Mill hose is designed for industrial and construction applications where low to medium water pressure is used.  Not to be used for fire fighting applications. 250 PSI Test Pressure / 125 PSI Service Pressure.

Hard Rubber Hose

Hard rubber hose is most often used in industrial and construction environments.  It is non-collapsible making it ideal for use with a continuous flow hose reel.  200 PSI Test Pressure.

Hose Rack Assembly

Hose Rack Assemblies are used to provide emergency fire fighting service to large buildings.  They consist of 5 or 6 different components depending on the size of the valve (1½" or 2½").  Although we assemble each hose rack assembly completely before it is shipped, we typically price each component separately.

  • Please see the separate hose rack assembly components listed below:

Pin Style Hose Rack

The Pin Style Hose Rack is a device that allows a specific length of hose to be hung from it.  During an emergency the hose can be pulled off the rack and used to help extinguish a fire.  Many building codes require the use of complete hose rack assemblies.

Swing Type Hose Reel

The swing style hose reel is designed to hold lay flat type hose - fire hose, rack hose, and mill hose.  One piece wall bracket is provided to allow for a full 180 degrees of swing.  Hose is easily removed by pulling toward fire area. Instantly ready for action when completely removed, and valve is opened.

  • Hose and nozzle sold separately.
