Strainers

Strainers are normally used in conjunction with dry hydrants.  They come in a variety of sizes and shapes according to their application.  Horizontal PVC strainers are typically used in ponds and lakes.  Tear drop strainers are used in streams and rivers, or shallow water applications.  Barrel strainers are usually reserved for cistern tanks.
