Gate Valves
Gate valves come in two main varieties: hydrant gate valves and wedge disc gate valves. Hydrant gates have rubber seals and a female swivel inlet. They are designed to control the flow of water from fire hydrants. Wedge disc gates have a metal-to-metal seal, and can have either a female swivel inlet or rigid inlet. They are designed for use on hydrants and pump test connections. |  |
